Logos for Printing Purposes
High-resolution logos, suitable for printing, are available for download below. EPS is the preferred format for our print, imprint, and sign vendors. The other formats (png, bmp, jpg) are suitable for internal publications developed with Microsoft Suite applications. See the brand profile for specific guidance on use and placement.
Unit logos identify schools, colleges, divisions, or administrative offices by combining the primary logo with the official unit name in a very specific type arrangement. The design staff of Creative Services are the only source for creating a unit logo. To get your unit logo, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and include the official name of your office, department or unit in the request.

The Mason M
The M expands your design options while keeping within brand profile guidelines. The M is not mandatory. But you must use it in compliance with the brand profile guidelines (i.e., no combining it with other type to create a graphic). Additionally it never replaces the university’s primary logo as an identifier.
We have introduced three graphics elements, one for each campus, for optional use in your publications. There are no “owners” of the elements. It makes sense when specifically talking about a particular campus or programs or facilities exclusive to a campus to use the element from that campus. However, if you are communicating about the university in a broader all inclusive way you are free to use any or all of the elements. We will be adding to this collection over time.
Use of the university seal is restricted to official documents, such as the university diploma. It may be used for occasions such as commencement and special events that represent the entire university. Please contact Creative Services at 703-993-8802 for permission to use the seal.
Brand compliant Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates are being developed. We will be adding to the templates available over the course of the next few months.
