PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
Hosted by the Office of University Branding
June 9-10, 2025
The Hub Ballroom • Fairfax Campus
ALL IN ’25 is George Mason University’s first “reverse conference” offered exclusively to the 250-plus extended family of institutional George Mason brand builders—communications, marketing, advertising, digital strategy, creative development, events, and trademark and brand stewardship staff. To save staff from having to seek professional development conferences elsewhere and at significant expense, All IN ’25 is designed as a campus-based summer conference, offering the same national conference-grade speakers and content, presented for free to the university community to experience together as a community. It is produced as a service of the Office of University Branding and is inspired by highly successful models developed at UC-Riverside and the University of Arizona.
What to Expect
HIGHLY TARGETED, HIGHLY ACTIONABLE
This professional development conference is designed to provide attendees with highly targeted, actionable tips and ideas that can be immediately applied to their day-to-day work. With a focus on practical takeaways, each session is crafted to support individuals in making a direct impact within their roles, while staying aligned with the university’s broader strategic goals and brand priorities. This event serves as a dynamic opportunity for professional growth, collaboration, and renewed focus on the work that drives the institution forward.
FOCUS ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
ALL IN ’25, as its acronym hints, will include a focus on another AI—artificial intelligence—as a central and growing influence on both the education environment and the disciplines broadly associated with marketing, communications, and events. In addition to developing best-practice habits in our professions, this conference will aid us in our own journeys to become literate, comfortable, and savvy with the introduction of AI technology in our work environment—with all its power, limitations, and ethical considerations.
